We're on our summer holidays and we return to our home at the Southgate Club on Friday 11th September with Kaspar Rapkin & The Swamp Dogs.

In the meantime we continue with our ever popular annual Broomfield Blues on the Bandstand in Broomfield Park N13 4PL on August Sunday afternoons continuing this Sunday, August 23rd with Hopperstomp, our local roots band, with jugs, followed by one of our all time favourites The Customtones who always bring good weather for a fantastic afternoon in prospect.

Each Sunday starts at 1.30pm with three open mic performances (these have been pre-booked and are all full) followed by two bands of the highest calibre to give you a flavour and celebration of the best of St Harmonica's Blues Club.

There is a magnificent bar provided by The Little Green Dragon Ale House and hot festival food this Sunday (and next) will be delicious Indian street food cooked on site by Annita Corriea. More reasons to come along! What a way to spend Sunday afternoon.

Blues Jam

Come and play or be part of the audience

Sunday 5th July
7.00pm - 10.00pm

It is the first Friday of the month so there is no Blues Club this Friday BUT it is ,of course, our monthly blues jam on Sunday 5th July starting at 7.00pm prompt.

The house band, will kick off proceedings followed by carefully assembled bands selected from the singers and players who turn up on the night, all under the watchful eyes of Vera and Terry Duggan; the results are often magnificent and always interesting.

Jammers:
Sign in on arrival, ideally before 7.00pm, with name and preferred instrument.
We'll supply the drums, keyboard, amps, PA, and DI box for the occasional acoustic instrument.
We will endeavour to swap or cover mics, if requested, but singers are welcome to bring their own.

Queensbury Jamming Rules apply:
⚹ the singer calls the tune, decides the key, and dishes out the solos;
⚹ players: please unpack your instrument, tune up and have everything ready before it's your turn to play;
⚹ solos are generally 2 verses long, unless the singer decides otherwise;
⚹ sets are 3 songs (unless we're running out of time, or your songs are 10 mins long);
⚹ if you aren't a drummer or keyboard player, bring your own instrument. Drummers, do bring your own sticks!

Audience members are also vital to the whole proceedings, and extremely welcome!

Admission is free to all with ’the hat’ offered around for donations.
