Blues rock at its finest this Friday when JFK Blue return to the club.
Since its creation in 2016, this band of musicians have always believed that writing and creating and recording their music was as important as simply playing live, and the blues was the bedrock from which all their music stemmed.
Live, JFK Blue is a force to be reckoned with. There are influences from blues and classic rock mixed with an originality and verve providing spine tingling performances which have never failed to impress an audience. Whilst their sound derives from classic blues and r’n’b bands of the 1960’s, it is contemporary in style as well and takes influences from many different genres.
The band has been lauded by fellow musicians as diverse as Paul Jones (Manfred Mann/The Blues Band/Radio 2), Zoot Money and Geno Washington, and has also shared the stage with more contemporary artists like The Blockheads, Chantelle McGregor, Sons Of Cream and many others.
If you love the blues and good rock music you will really love this band. Made up of really excellent musicians this six piece band really swings and a good night is guaranteed.
Support comes from the immaculate guitar playing and vocals of the year and Manny Fizzotti who will play at 8.30pm followed by two sets from JFK Blue starting around 9.15pm.
