It is always exciting to have a band perform at the club for the first time and that is the case this Friday. Following a recommendation from one of our members who saw this band a few months ago in Barnet and told us that he thought they would go down well at St Harmonica’s we thought we’d follow that up and have booked them. Collectively known as Blues on Fire, Eve, Ed, Neil, Tom and Mark have been around for a while playing gigs from clubs to pubs and festivals to parties gaining ground and plenty of appreciation along the way.So if you like your blues rocking, swinging as well as slow and emotionally charged, played across a mix of modern and reworked classics then you are sure to love this band. A vocal, guitar and keys driven 5 piece delivered with passion and great musicianship; it all adds up to Blues on Fire.
Support comes in the form of none other than Laine Hines who we haven’t seen for some time. Laine has a regular Friday night engagement which it is difficult for him to miss but he has agreed to this Friday and we are delighted. His acoustic guitar and authentic vocals deliver that proper early blues sound of those Delta players.
Support starts at 8.30pm followed by two sets from Blues on Fire starting just after 9.00pm.
