Support from JC/DT (John Crowther with Dave Thomas)

Friday May 29th
8.00 - 11.30pm

After a triumphant headline gig last week at The 100 Club in Central London, we are delighted to welcome the David Sinclair Four (DS4) back to St Harmonica’s Blues Club this Friday, 29th May. The David Sinclair Four bring song-led British blues-rock with wit and character. Fronted by London songwriter and Classic Rock journalist David Sinclair, the band combines sharp storytelling with the muscular guitar presence of Geoff Peel, the driving rhythm section of Derek White (bass) and Steve Jessop (drums), and the unmistakable blues feel of harmonica player Laurie Garman. DS4 have become a strong presence on the UK blues circuit, with recent appearances at leading clubs and festivals.

The band has received recognition from Blues Matters, where their most recent album Apropos Blues, appeared in the magazine’s Top Albums of the Year, and they have been interviewed and reviewed several times in Blues in Britain. The band’s live set blends original songs with deep blues roots, Americana and improvisational energy. A class act you won’t want to miss them.

And you shouldn’t miss the support act either as JC/DT (John Crowther with Dave Thomas) return to their home stage to open the show with a little help from their friends.

Support starts at 8.30pm followed by two sets from DS4 starting just after 9.00pm.
