We always love to host bands for the first time at St Harmonica’s and can’t wait to see and hear Leeds based Crosscut Saw this Friday 8th May as they embark on their southern tour. A three-piece blues roots, rock band from the UK, Yorkshire based and comprising Alex Eden, lead singer, guitarist and harmonica player, drummer Richard Ferdinando and bass player Richard Green. All have worked with various luminaries of the blues scene and glean inspiration from the likes of The Black Keys, Magic Sam, RL Burnside, Taj Mahal and Dr John.
Crosscut Saw have established a fine reputation and played many festivals and venues around the country and Europe over the past 30 years including; Colne Great British RnB Festival, Burnley Blues Festival, Leeds Blues Festival, Maryport Blues Festival, Beverly Blues Festival, Honey Bee Blues Club, Beat-Herder Festival, Unity Day Leeds, The Hebden Bridge Blues Festival, Glow Festival Huddersfield, The Shuttle Shuffle Festival.

The support on Friday comes in the form of the acoustic blues of Manny Fizzotti, always a joy to watch and listen to.
Support starts at 8.30pm followed by two sets from Crosscut Saw starting just after 9.00pm.
